Mechanical Engineer II (Beverly Hills, MI). Responsibilities include: Provide technical design support to the Mechanical Design team. Prepare schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with owner’s requirements and ensure governmental code compliance. Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates. Assist in construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations. Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors and building contractors as required. Develop mechanical system layouts and identify equipment sizing/selection. Perform plumbing schematic design of air systems, fans, ducting, etc. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines. Maintain continuing professional education in discipline. Attend coordination meetings and conduct site visits as required. Domestic Travel less than 5 %.
