Responsibilities
- Be a consistent, trusted daily presence — offering genuine companionship, warm conversation, and emotional support
- Assist with personal care activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility with patience and dignity
- Prepare light, nourishing meals and assist with dietary preferences and needs
- Support the overall wellbeing of clients by assisting with light household tasks, including laundry, dishes, and light cleaning, ensuring their living space remains safe and pleasant
- Accompany and assist with medical appointments, helping to communicate with client's support team
- Monitor day-to-day health and wellbeing, recognizing changes and responding with calm, informed judgment
- Assist with medication reminders and prescribed daily health routines
- Create a safe, comfortable, and joyful environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing
- Provide the kind of unhurried, attentive presence that truly makes a difference in someone's daily life
Skills
- Meaningful experience in caregiving, healthcare, home health, elder care, or a related field (required)
- A naturally warm, patient, and emotionally present personality — someone who genuinely enjoys spending quality time with others
- Familiarity with the needs of older adults, including an understanding of aging, chronic conditions, and mobility challenges
- Comfortable assisting with medication reminders and communicating with family and support team
- Discreet, trustworthy, and deeply respectful of personal privacy and dignity

Experience
- Caregiving, healthcare, or related field: 10+ years (Required)
- Background in nursing, home health, elder care, or social services: strongly preferred
- Private duty or one-on-one care experience: a significant plus
