Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer for our ST-28 Series Turning Center. This is a hands-on role that includes programming, setup, and troubleshooting in a professional shop environment. You will collaborate with machinists and engineers to ensure part quality and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and optimize CNC lathe operations using Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
- Set up and run jobs on ST-28 Series Turning Centers.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T and tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues on the floor.
- Collaborate with the team to improve cycle times and quality.
- Maintain accurate program files, setup sheets, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional machining experience.
- CNC lathe programming experience (ST-28 or similar).
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
- Strong understanding of G-code and turning fundamentals.
- Experience with hands-on setup and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
