Sunsation Powerboats is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Production Engineer to help improve, organize, and scale our production operations.
This is a hands-on role working directly with the Production Engineering Manager to enhance processes, materials, systems, and overall production efficiency. This position goes beyond traditional engineering—combining process improvement, manufacturing support, design, and production organization into one role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve production processes, workflows, and procedures
- Organize and maintain parts, materials, and production documentation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
- Work with production teams to improve build quality and throughput
- Assist with engineering tasks related to design, materials, and structural components
- Support production initiatives as the company continues to grow
Qualifications

- A highly capable problem-solver without a formal engineering degree
- Someone with production, manufacturing, or technical experience who understands how things actually get built
Core requirements:
- Strong computer skills (required)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
Preferred (not required):
- Engineering degree or technical training
- Experience in manufacturing, marine, automotive, or similar industries
- Leadership or management experience
