Job Description
Serve as product owner for commercial data for across OAPI
Lead the development and maintenance of the commercial data transformation roadmap
Leads Data Governance which is focused on third party data assets. Design, operate and evolve the Data Governance based on the inputs and needs of key stakeholders, vendors and broad organizational objectives to ensure needs are met and pain points are effectively avoided or resolved.
Additionally, this role will collaborate with the business units to define, establish, and implement data strategies and global governance of data standards and processes for both personal (HCPs, HCOs) and non-personal master data to support analytics, customer operations, and deliver capabilities to improve customer experience
Lead the continued development and enforcement of guiding principles, processes, governance, and ongoing support for the commercial use of HCP data
Operational excellence would be demonstrated through the effective and efficient delivery across the multiple portfolios. This includes but is not limited to the resourcing, prioritization, timeline management, functional outsourcing, etc...
This role involves leading and managing international teams with onshore and offshore resources, collaborating with IT to drive innovation within the commercial data ecosystem, and championing continuous enhancement of commercial reporting infrastructure
Function as a knowledge base and resource to project teams. Serves as a point of escalation and resolution for the Data Enablement organization.
Guides and informs broader organization to the considerations and opportunities of data scouting and acquisition, inclusive of strategic use of data vendors
Fosters a culture that embraces the strategic use of data into decision making enabling greater business outcomes.
Builds a learning culture within and external to Data Strategy & Operations team, where individuals are provided growth and development opportunities.
Accountable for ensuring collaborations and communications with key stakeholders of Data Stewardship.
Attract, retain, develop and promote talent to build a team with an optimal balance of experience and diverse perspectives.

Qualifications/ Required
Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:
Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry with functional leadership experience within data operations organizations.
Experience supporting development and commercial portfolios spanning multiple products, therapeutic areas and development phases.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data privacy and security.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and drive change in a complex organizational environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and manage data-related risks.
Programming/Coding proficiency in SQL and experience and/or understanding of other statistical tools such as R, Python and SAS
Familiarity with third-party data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo Health, etc.).
Experience in data reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI etc
Strong analytical/quantitative skills and knowledge with the ability to understand the big picture
Management of a budget, inclusive of resourcing and outsourcing and discretionary spend.Experience driving large, complex change efforts and to drive results through influence, persuasion and relationships
Assesses quickly with a track record of getting up to speed and adding immediate value to new situations
Exceptional ability to co-create and work collectively with various business leaders and other key stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize, conceptually interpret and clearly communicate material developed collaboratively via the input of multiple parties; translate complexity into the actionable
Effective influencing and negotiation skills
Up to 10% travel is required based upon business needs.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Marketing Analytics).
10+ years of experience in experience in data governance, data management, analytics or related roles.
5+ years of people management experience. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges and shaping organizational strategy particularly in therapeutic areas.

Minimum $230,720.00 - Maximum $345,000.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
