Logistics Project Engineering Support Specialist
This role will support the Logistics Project Engineering department with proposal management, material procurement, and department performance tracking. This is an excellent position for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, who is interested in learning more about project management within Logistics, Test, and Evaluation (LT&E). This role involves regular collaboration and communication and is best suited for someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
The LT&E organization manages and executes integrated logistics product support; reliability, supportability, and maintainability activities; technical publications; and system test events. Primary responsibilities for this role include:
Coordinating and entering estimates for LT&E to support proposal development
Creating and managing Material Requisitions (MRs) in Oracle to purchase parts for logistics activities
Managing the LT&E continuous improvement projects and departmental goals and metrics
Preparing and presenting the LT&E Balanced Scorecard to management
Position requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Microsoft Excel - able to create user-friendly trackers and manipulate data
Attention to detail - accuracy and completeness are critical
Communication - comfortable participating in meetings and following up with others via email, phone call, and in person
Microsoft Power Point - able to create clean, professional presentations
Able to stay organized while juggling different priorities
Self-sufficient without needing reminders
Oracle Procurement - can learn on the job
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) - can learn on the job
