We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Financial Services and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. The role requires deep knowledge of Duck Creek and focuses on evaluating business and IT processes, defining architecture strategies, and driving innovation, efficiency, and cost optimization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate internal functions, business strategies, and IT processes, and recommend improvements
Create current and target state architecture and define roadmaps
Conduct portfolio analysis of application inventory and platforms supporting business domains
Suggest strategies to simplify, innovate, and reduce costs in IT and business operations
Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
Ensure efficiency, security, and alignment with organizational goals
Develop compliance architecture methods including data storage, metadata management, and change control
Determine and implement build vs. buy strategies aligned with overall business and technology strategy
Govern AI use cases to ensure ROI and adherence to standards and policies
Prepare and present materials to the Technical Architecture Group
Analyze and recommend new technologies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Strong Financial Services and Insurance domain knowledge
Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience is required
Mandatory experience with Duck Creek
Experience with insurance package implementation
Knowledge of integration services
Good to have knowledge of specialty lines (Medical Professional Liability)
Proficiency with technology platforms and frameworks including AWS, OCI, Azure, ERP systems (Workday, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft), data lakehouse concepts, data mesh architectures, security frameworks, and AI/GenAI concepts (e.g., RAG)
Experience with architecture frameworks and APM tools such as Ardoq
Strong experience in Corporate Finance, HR, or Legal/Risk/Compliance
Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good leadership and motivational skills
Experience in system architecture.
