Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Calibration System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on execution, coordination, and followthrough across multiple functional teams to help ensure calibration deliverables meet quality, timing, and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will drive and support calibration maturity, arbitrate technical tradeoffs, and work cross-functionally to achieve program objectives, ensuring the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and performance. This position requires strong technical expertise in calibration methodologies, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support complex and dynamic development cycles.
Responsibilities:
As a Calibration System Integration Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
PCAL Propulsion System Calibration Support
Support propulsion system calibration execution, issues resolution, and validation activities.
Assist in system-level feature and calibration deliverables (NVH, FE, Performance, efficiency, driveability, capability)
Support calibration release maturity & safety release readiness
PCAL Cross-Functional Integration & Release
Power Cube release validation
Validate releases with EVCU, ECM, MCP, BPCM, IDCM, SGCP, BSM, PBW, DMPI, including supplier calibrations
Execute issue resolution (GIMs, PITS, IMS, internal PCAL, AVL drive)
GIM triage within PCAL
PCAL Program & Management Support
Prepare and maintain system statuses for program reviews (quality gates, DVP status, software content)
Assist in preparation for management ride-and-drive events and technical reviews.
PCAL Resource & Validation Execution
Utilization of validation resources including HIL systems, dynos, and vehicles.
Support mule builds and vehicle propulsion system integration
Plan and attend test trips, AVL drive, validation campaigns
Validation of new SW
PCAL Compliance & Industrialization
Support plant industrialization activities
Assist with documentation and tracking of running changes through closure.
Resolution for PCAL aftermarket quality issues
Maintain proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Kanban) and demonstrate expertise in calibration tool suites (ETAS/INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, Vector). Familiarity with various platforms that interface with dyno and virtual testing (HIL) is also required.
Demonstrate careful attention to detail and excellent organizational skills in all aspects of work.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited university.
Excellent English communication skills
3 years minimum of proven experience in powertrain calibration, including a minimum of one complete program development/launch cycle.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, controls, and software development processes.
Expertise in calibration tool suites (ETAS/INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, Canalyzer).
Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and dyno testing platforms.
Proficiency in data analysis and root cause identification using functional models.
Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team of peers.
Conflict and crisis management skills.
Preferred Skills:
5+ years of calibration experience including multiple program development/launch cycles.
Familiarity with Stellantis internal processes & standards
Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods.
Knowledge of the dyno environment and tools related to it, such as: Puma, Cameo, Indicom, Concerto.
Experience with Matlab scripting and other useful data processing languages/tool sets (e.g., Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, PowerApps, PowerBI).
"AI Native" approach to work-stream efficiency.
