Two years to five years' experience of developing planning, executing, and managing initiatives to secure donations and financial support for RAIL. They are responsible for organizing events, cultivating donor relationships, researching prospects, and tracking metrics in databases. Developing relationships with community groups/agencies in partnership with others in the agency.
Requirements:
Possession of high school diploma or G.E.D is required. Must have two continuous years in recovery from addiction(s) with experience navigating treatment services and/or prevention; experience receiving publicly funded treatment and recovery services for addiction. One year of experience interacting with persons with substance use disorder required. Must possess the MDHHS Peer Recovery certification Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both orally and in writing is required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.
Physical Requirements
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).
