What you will do -
As Sourcing Manager, Strategic Sourcing, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, efficiency, and value across our global supply base. This is a high-impact position with direct visibility to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a defined supplier portfolio, driving excellence in service, quality, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Execution: Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with Stryker's mission and global category goals, optimizing supplier performance across service, quality, and cost.
Supplier Relationship Management: Set strategic direction for key supplier partnerships. Serve as the escalation point for supplier issues, including quality concerns, dispute resolution, and commercial implications of product field actions.
Supplier Development: Drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities to meet both short-term and long-term business needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead global sourcing projects and strategic initiatives beyond the sourcing function, including program management efforts.
Executive Communication: Engage confidently with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and supplier organizations.
Required -
8+ years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services.
Bachelors Degree
Preferred -
AS400 or ERP experience
Power BI or similar applications
Work in a manufacturing environment
Work in medical device or other highly regulated industry
