Your Key Responsibilities
Complete 7,000 - 8,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities
Assists with monthly preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
Running and CNC machine set up
Drive Technical Improvement activities as prioritized by production management and defined by Process Engineering (scrap, efficiency, utilization, quality, cost, cycle time)
Support small step improvements related to quality, costs, logistics and motivation
Reduce direct expenses by standardizing and optimizing tooling and machine components
Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards
Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures, and the Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of these objectives
Successfully complete, to the Company's specification, courses of study required for the CNC Machinist Certification
Your Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)
Ability to move or lift 35 pounds
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
