Elmer's County Market is looking for a few friendly faces to join our team! Our family-owned grocery store is seeking dependable and customer-focused part-time cashiers to help create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
What you'll Do:
- Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent service
- Accurately scan items and process transactions
- Handle cash and maintain an organized register area
- Assist customers with questions
- Properly bag grocery items
- Help keep the front end clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Work as part of a team to create a poistive store environment
What We're Looking For:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required---we're happy to train the right person!
