Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician maintains and troubleshoots production seating equipment in a high-volume, just-in-time manufacturing facility
This role focuses on electrical troubleshooting up to 480V and three-phase motors, pneumatic systems, and mini boiler operations to keep production running efficiently
The technician works in assigned zones on the plant floor alongside seat assemblers, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting some general facility maintenance as needed
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot seating production equipment to minimize downtime in a just-in-time manufacturing environment
Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, including work on three-phase motors, electrical circuits, and control systems
Rebuild and repair wires and cables, including tracking and tracing wires and correcting reverse polarity on three-phase motors
Diagnose and resolve pneumatic system issues, including valves, actuators, and related components
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, prints, and blueprints to identify and correct equipment problems
Utilize basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, to access documentation and record maintenance activities
Participate in training and skill development to expand capabilities, including PLC troubleshooting and hydraulics, where applicable
Essential Skills
At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an automotive industrial setting
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including rebuilding wires and cables and working with electrical circuits up to 480V
Experience working with three-phase motors, including tracking and tracing wires and correcting reverse polarity
Proficiency in pneumatics troubleshooting, including diagnosis and repair of pneumatic components
Ability to read and interpret schematic prints, electrical diagrams, and blueprints
Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, including mechanical repair and equipment maintenance
Proficiency using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $67600.00/yr.
