Job Title: Welder Fitter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter for an exciting opportunity on 1st shift, Monday through Friday. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints to perform the initial fit-up of welded assemblies. You will communicate directly with engineering when required and work with minimum supervision, contributing to the creation of high-quality assemblies.
SHIFT: 6am-6pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, both detail and assembly.
Perform initial fit-up of welded assemblies using pre-cut steel plates.
Build assembly structures which are then passed on to other welders for further welding.
Operate overhead cranes with up to 50-ton capacity and fork trucks.
Communicate directly with engineering to ensure accuracy and quality.
Manually lift 20-25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints with at least 5 years of experience.
5 years of experience in Flux Core and MIG welding.
5 years of fitting experience with 1-inch plate fitting and welding.

Our expansive facility covers 9 acres with over 100,000 square feet under roof. Equipped with 34 overhead and jib cranes, the environment supports robust fabrication and assembly processes. The work environment is dynamic and well-equipped to support high-quality production.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
90 day wait period on benefits. Insurance, PTO, Holiday pay
