Title: Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer - Vehicle Homologation & Compliance
Location: Allen Park, MI
Engineering positions with lead responsibility for coordinating fuel economy certification activities.
Responsibilities including:
Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates.
Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability.
Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements.
Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
Perform fuel economy testing:
o Test request generation
o Data analysis
o Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required.
o Cross-functional meeting support as required
o Coordinate catalyst bench aging
Requirements
BS in Engineering or related field
Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
