Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles, trends, and products through company training and your own research of trends.
- Utilize computer tools to validate credit terms and complete sales transactions.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a retail store environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand during the entire shift.
Must be able to lift and/or move, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications needed to perform this position:
- Previous sales experience in retail, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry, is preferred but not required.
- Passion for furniture and interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering a positive and memorable shopping experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Computer proficient in placing orders and credit applications.
- Exceptional listening and problem-resolution skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
