Job Title: Auto Parts Sales & Inventory Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in Adrian, Michigan. This role is a hybrid of office-based customer service and active inventory management, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a solid understanding of automotive components.
Primary Responsibilities

Customer Relations & Sales: Serve as the first point of contact by answering high-volume phone calls, providing quotes, and assisting customers with parts inquiries.

Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain vehicle and part information into the Car-Part system.

Administrative Support: Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily documentation and use QuickBooks to process transactions, manage invoices, and track sales data.

Inventory Control: Perform outdoor inventory tasks, which include identifying, tagging, and verifying vehicle parts in the yard to ensure our digital database matches our physical stock.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the shop and yard staff to coordinate parts pulling and customer pickups.
Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a scrap yard environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with specialized automotive recycling software (like Car-Part) is a significant plus.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate a salvage yard to inspect inventory.
