Provide a safe working environment for all employees and customers in our stores while maintaining equipment. Perform service to the stores refrigeration system, consisting of single air cooled units, to remote parallel racks, HVAC units and refrigerated cases and coils. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES - Troubleshoot electrical mechanical components
Maintain records of freon usage
Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of service truck
Perform timely and complete repairs and preventative maintenance to store equipment including freon leaks
Assist other mechanics if the need arises
Develop working relationship with key personnel division office staff
Receive orders from dispatch and call list and combine into weekly work schedule
Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts on service truck
Work closely with a refrigeration mechanic to be exposed to refrigeration, preventive maintenance, service work, ordering parts and equipment
Oversee refrigeration needs, preventative maintenance and service work
Maintain ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary
Travel independently to other sites as needed

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum
High School Diploma or GED
EPA Refrigerant Certification Class 2
Ability to prioritize tasks, resources and schedules
Working knowledge and computer skills in all areas of refrigeration and HVAC maintenance and ability to learn refrigeration concepts quickly as it pertains to grocery store
Must have a valid state drivers license
Actively working toward a degree at a recognized technical college
Ability to work with other teammates
Flexibility to handle ever changing scope of assignments and projects
