Job description:
Selective Industries Inc. specializes in the manufacture of metal stampings for the automotive and electrical industries worldwide.
Selective Industries Inc. in Marine City, MI has immediate openings for production associates.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Metal stamping, assembly, spot weld and CNC production machining operations and processes.
Perform daily housekeeping assignments to keep work area clean and orderly. Perform all position responsibilities in a safe manner and in accordance with all prescribed time schedules.
Support total quality management objectives in a team environment.
Document daily production, scrap, down time.
Monitor product quality per instructions.
Report any quality issues to team leader.
Job Type:
Schedule (Full-time) Monday through Thursday (5:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.)
10-hour shift with the possibility of overtime.
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour.
Additional experience in Manufacturing is a plus.

Physical Demands/Environment:
Physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment. Job requires very frequent visual effort and concentration, and the ability to move throughout the plant, including second story areas. The ability to lift 40 pounds is required, as well as the ability to grip and hold hand tools.
