Job Summary
· Deliver materials to the production line to build parts. Prepare material for changeover of production lines to have minimal down time. Put away material once taken away from the line in correct locations. Put material from transfer trucks in racks in designated locations.

Essential Functions
Material Handling
· Deliver product to production line to build parts.
· Put material away from deliveries in the correct location in the rack.
· Prepare material for changeovers on production lines to ensure a quick changeover.
· Maintain organization and cleanliness of racks.
· Pull wood boards off the walls of pallets once removed.
· Label Boxes and scan to line once material is brought to line.
· Pull cardboard off pallets and stack them to be put in the scrap trailer.
· All areas of logistics need to be clean swept and ready for the next shift.
· Materials need to be stocked and ready for the next shift to start.
· Scan all materials correctly to the line.
· May be asked to assist in dock functions as needed.
· Perform other related duties as requested.
Dock handling
· Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas.
· Obtains production schedule and/or shipping orders and then identifies, verifies, and transports requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials accordingly.
· Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
· Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas.
· Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
· Manages piles, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
· Services equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to Supervisor.
· May be asked to assist in material handling functions as needed.
· Performs other related duties as requested.
