Production Assembler
Description: The Production Assembler at Thompson Surgical Instruments is responsible for assembling medical device components using a variety of tools and machines to meet customer quality standards and specifications in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following safety policies and procedures.
- Perform a variety of duties to assemble all types and sizes of product, components, and sub-assemblies using a variety of standard machines or hand tools.
- Start up, operation, and shutdown of manufacturing equipment.
- Will be required to buff, blast, press, solder, weld, inspect, measure/gauge parts per product requirements.
- Consistently meet daily production goals (95% acceptable work) while building a high-quality product, part or subassembly to specification.
- Provide feedback on new and existing procedures and parts.
- Work in a team environment and collaborate well with others.
- Bring production issues to the attention of the Assembly Supervisor and Lead.
- Must be able to work overtime when required and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders.
- Able to perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices/tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of shop equipment.
