What You'll Do
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in keeping the department running efficiently by supporting internal teams, maintaining accurate inventory, and delivering excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities include:
Receive incoming parts and materials, verify shipments, count inventory, and report discrepancies
Assist internal and external customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts
Provide pricing, availability, and product information over the phone and in person
Recommend related parts, companion items, and current specials when appropriate
Pick parts accurately using picking tickets and deliver them promptly to technicians
Return unused parts from the shop back into inventory correctly
Help maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked parts department
Support daily department operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Automotive parts experience required
Prior Parts Advisor experience strongly preferred
General Motors experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
