Job Description
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to serve as the primary technical owner for internal business solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform for one of our clients. This role will focus on modernizing legacy Access databases within the corporate environment-either retiring them entirely or migrating appropriate functionality to the Power Platform. Over the past month, the team has also begun adopting Power Platform code apps, following Microsoft's recent release of this capability. As a result, AI-enabled features within code apps will play an increasingly important role in this position. Given that these tools are relatively new, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, experiment, and grow alongside the technology. Other responsbilites include:
Design, build, and maintain applications using: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) and Power Automate
Develop model-driven apps within the Power Platform environment (Dynamics-based)
Design and manage data models that support scalable and reusable solutions
Integrate systems using Microsoft-provided connectors and Power Platform integration capabilities
Navigate and connect business data across multiple systems and sources
Partner with Product Managers, end users, and developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually polished UI/UX, suitable for global visibility
Create and execute basic test plans, supporting functional and user acceptance testing
Independently develop implementation approaches and solution plans
$40/hr to $60/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements
4+ strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
Experience building model-driven apps
Strong data modeling skills and understanding of data ownership and structure
Proven experience integrating systems using Power Platform connectors
Ability to independently design and deliver end-to-end solutions
Experience creating and executing test plans
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience with Code Apps in Power Platform
Experince utilizing AI within power platform
