The key responsibilities of the CNC Machinist are to perform Programming, troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment.
Some of the requirements are:
- Knowledge of best practice machining techniques
- Blueprint reading
- Continue to improve current production machining programs for efficiency
- Communicate with the supervisor to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Guidance on job setups and aid in fixture designs
- Assist with customer quotes that require machining processes
- Quality Control - part inspection upon completion of machining and documentation
- Maintain clean equipment and shop environment
- Execute an equipment preventative maintenance program
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years relevant CNC and other machining experience
- Proficiency G-Code, and M-Code
- Working knowledge in GD&T
- Strong math skills and experience with measuring tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform general physical activities such as walking, lifting, and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- U.S. Citizenship is required
