Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to maintain production tools and produce repair parts using manual and CNC machines, including lathe, mill, and grinder
This role supports production through various tasks including tooling and machine maintenance
Job Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines, including manual mills, lathes, and grinders, to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling
Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand specifications and desired results
Maintain communication with job leads or supervisors as required
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines
Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce according to specifications
Set machines for full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts
Supervise machines during operation and make necessary adjustments for optimal results
Assist the Maintenance and Tooling department as needed
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper housekeeping
Complete task reporting documentation and distribute as needed
Manage Work Orders or projects and handle special projects as assigned
Recommend and implement improvements for tooling and equipment
Essential Skills
5 years of experience in CNC Mill setup and operation
Ability to read blueprints
Proficiency in using G&M codes to edit programs at the machine, including tool change, offset, and machine setup
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
