Job Description
CO-OP PROGRAM FORMAT:
This co-op program will follow an in-person model. Co-ops will be based at Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) or other facility in the Metro Detroit area and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week during work rotations. Co-ops will rotate aligned with the Kettering University co-op schedule. Applications are accepted year-round, and co-op cohorts start on a quarterly basis in and co-ops are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

As they progress through the program, co-ops are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way.
Co-ops will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the co-op to provide valuable contributions. Co-ops experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS:
Join Stellantis Product Development & Technology (PDT) as a Kettering University Co-Op and be part of a global organization driving the future of mobility. PDT is responsible for- the design, development, validation, and delivery of innovative vehicle systems, software, and technologies across the Stellantis portfolio.
Co-ops are assigned to teams based on their academic background, interests, and skill sets. Assignments are project oriented-, meaningful to the business, and designed to allow coops to make real contributions while gaining -hands-on- experience in a professional engineering and technology environment.
Throughout the program, co-ops will:
Work on real assignments with deliverables that matter
Collaborate with cross functional teams in a dynamic, -fast paced- environment
Gain exposure to cutting-edge- technologies, tools, and processes
Develop technical, professional, and communication skills
Present work and project outcomes to team members and leadership
Build a strong network of mentors, peers, and professionals across the organization

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Earned high school diploma, GED, or higher degree by June 2026
Must be attending or accepted to attend Kettering University in the Co-op program
Academic focus in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Data/Analytics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across various organizational levels
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
Interest in automotive technology, mobility, and innovation
