We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join a leading global manufacturing organization in Novi, Michigan. Responsibilities:
Conduct risk-based internal audits across global operations to identify process and control improvements.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts by documenting, testing, and evaluating internal controls.
Collaborate with business leaders to assess risks and enhance governance and operational performance.
Assist in developing the annual risk assessment and audit plan.
Partner with external auditors to coordinate and support audit-related activities.
Lead or contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, operations, and leadership.
Provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness in various business processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or internal auditing, with preference for Big 4 or large regional firm backgrounds.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and risk assessment frameworks.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% based on project needs.
Proficient in audit planning, execution, and reporting processes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
