Description Seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Ann Arbor MI, for a rapidly growing manufacturing company. In this role you will assist with the execution of customer orders from receipt through shipment and invoicing, order entry, production coordination, material planning, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery. Role is fully onsite and pay up to $27/hr.
Duties include:
Order Management
Receive and review customer POs
Enter and release orders into ERP/MES
Send order confirmations to customers
Ensure correct revisions, quantities, and due dates
Material Planning & Purchasing
Identify raw material requirements (powder, consumables)
Issue POs and manage vendor communication
Track material delivery and resolve shortages
Invoicing
Generate invoices upon shipment
Ensure alignment between shipped quantities and billing
Resolve customer billing discrepancies
Shipping & Fulfillment
Coordinate and execute shipments
Generate packing slips and shipping documentation
Ensure orders ship complete and on time
Production Coordination
Inventory Control
Maintain accurate inventory in ERP (raw, WIP, finished)
Execute transactions tied to production and shipments
Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
Required Experience
2-5 years in manufacturing or supply chain
Hands-on ERP experience (order entry, inventory, purchasing)
Experience coordinating orders, materials, or shipments Requirements - Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations.
Proficiency with supply chain management systems, including order entry and inventory tracking.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate orders, materials, and shipments efficiently.
Strong experience in material planning and purchasing processes.
Familiarity with creating and reviewing invoices, as well as resolving billing discrepancies.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage inventory control and production schedules.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment and proactively address challenges.
