Our Optometry practice is seeking a FULL TIME energetic, friendly, hardworking, honest and professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist. We are seeking candidates who have a genuine desire to build fun and trusting relationships with our long standing patients.
The job is centered in Boyne City, but the candidate must be willing to travel to our other locations if needed. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Collecting and enter medical information
- Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR systems, for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Front desk operations: scheduling appointments, verifying medical and vision insurance and entering patient information into EMR.
- Willing to learn general knowledge of ocular anatomy
- Work with team members to ensure patients have the best possible experience in our office.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Must possess some computer and general office skills.
- Must be friendly, reliable, professional and willing to learn in a progressive team environment.
- Must be able to adapt to patient needs and disposition.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
