Job Summary
We are seeking Field Technicians to service dock equipment, overhead doors, and fire doors. 2+ years of experience is preferred but not necessary. Candidate should have a good selection of tools, a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a drug screen, and have the ability to complete paperwork and timecards on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- maintenance and installation of loading dock equipment and overhead doors;
- troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, motors, overhead doors, levelers, vehicle restraints, etc.
- electrical experience in reading voltages, diagnosing electrical components, and tracing wires is a plus
- welding experience is a plus
Technicians safely travel to the customer's location, locate the equipment requiring service, diagnose the problem with the equipment, communicate with the customer both verbally and in writing to explain the needed repairs, get approval on repair work and proceed accordingly with the repairs.
