- Master’s Degree in Education (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting.
- Demonstrated skill in working with students to achieve educational goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic colleagues in development of academic advising protocol and programs to retain students in their first year of college and move them into their major course of study.
- Possess strong technical and database skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
