Job Title: Business Process Reengineering Analyst
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Business Process Reengineering Analyst to review, analyze, and improve grant-related business processes. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants to optimize workflows, support system enhancements, and ensure effective communication and documentation across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and document current grant-related business processes and workflows
Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements
Analyze federal policy changes and advise on necessary application updates
Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants
Act as the primary point of contact for field consultants regarding application issues
Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to stakeholders
Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets in Azure DevOps
Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to resolve technical issues
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
Lead and mentor a team of business analysts
Delegate tasks and ensure alignment with project goals
Facilitate and lead requirement-gathering sessions
Maintain comprehensive project documentation on SharePoint
Ensure all process changes and decisions are documented and accessible
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a business process reengineer
2+ years of experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Leadership experience in cross-functional team environments
Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office
Exposure to complex IT web applications within the past 5 years
Experience gathering and documenting business feedback and incorporating process changes
Experience working with multiple internal and external teams to support projects and training needs
Ability to lead meetings, conduct training and information sessions, and deliver presentations
Experience working as a liaison between development teams and project managers or business clients
Experience with federal, state, or local grant management systems
Experience with Azure DevOps, including creating user stories and queries
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma or similar design software
