Position Overview
Top Mile Logistics is seeking a reliable Driver to operate a box truck on regional routes. This position ensures drivers are home daily while delivering freight safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company box truck on assigned regional routes
- Ensure safe and timely pickup and delivery of freight
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Load and unload freight as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s License (Preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet delivery schedules
Work Environment & Schedule
- Regional routes – no overnights
- Full-time schedule; occasional overtime may occur
- Indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions
