Star Textile, Inc., a Michigan-based manufacturer specializing in hospitality window treatments, is seeking a detail-oriented Roller Shade Assembly Technician. This role involves assembling and preparing roller shade systems to meet production specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble roller shade components including tubes, fabrics, brackets, and mechanisms
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to work orders
- Operate basic tools and equipment used in shade fabrication
- Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Package completed shades for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Comfortable working with hands and basic tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with window treatments is a plus
