Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a wide variety of construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, providing crucial support both in our well-equipped workshop and in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Utilize diagnostic software and hand tools to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and powertrain components.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and track tensioning.
- Field Service: Travel to job sites to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns in the field.
- Welding/Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication to repair or modify equipment components.
- Documentation: Accurately document all repairs, maintenance, and parts usage through our digital work order system.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
