Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee payroll operations and ensure seamless processing for a large, multi-state workforce. Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for a workforce exceeding 500 employees.
Oversee multi-state payroll operations, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process bi-monthly payroll and address system-related tasks.
Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of payroll data, including deductions, benefits, and taxes.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all employee information is current and secure.
Monitor and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Provide guidance and support to team members regarding payroll processes and best practices.
Conduct regular audits to identify and correct payroll errors or inconsistencies.
Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes affecting payroll processes. Requirements - Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll for a large workforce, including multi-state operations.
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Experience processing bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all payroll activities.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address and resolve payroll issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Dayforce payroll software is a plus.
