At Genisys Credit Union, we value our employees who are essential to our ongoing growth and success as a financial institution of choice. We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Contact Center Representative - Lending position at our Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
Position Purpose:
Interact with members and process member requests and transactions. Process loan requests for members and work with centralized underwriting for a decision. Research and resolve member problems. Offer Credit Union products or services whenever appropriate.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
Interact with members via phone, e-mail and other media as appropriate.
Answer member questions concerning their accounts and Credit Union services.
Open new accounts, when appropriate.
Perform file maintenance on members' accounts as necessary.
Sell products and services where appropriate.
Accept and process loan applications.
Submit loan requests to Centralized Underwriting for decisioning.
Gather information related to credit and debit card disputes.
Process specialty lending, such as home equities and credit cards.
Promote the sale of Credit Union sponsored insurance products.
Provide members with information necessary to make informed decisions regarding their financial transactions.
Process termination statements and lien releases.
Process and verify EFT authorizations and insurance documents.
Complete various other tasks such as faxing of documents, writing letters and delivery of paperwork to various departments within the Credit Union.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent; Associates's Degree preferred
2 years financial institution experience, preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong typing abilities.
Good verbal public relations skills.
Communicate verbally and in writing.
Able to operate calculator, word processor, and related computerapplications.
Well organized.
Strong commitment to cross selling and over coming objections whencross selling applicable products and services.
Maintain confidentiality of member data.
