Job Title: Machine Builder / Electrician
Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining high-quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies. You will adhere to strict safety standards while collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Follow OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards.
Build and manufacture quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment.
Perform maintenance and repair of building and installed equipment as assigned.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report material shortages.
Operate power equipment and material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
Interpret blueprints, develop specifications, and create sketches of parts or products to be manufactured.
Submit daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork.
Assist in training employees and coordinate with supervisors on scheduling and project assignments.
Perform tasks with minimal supervisory assistance, demonstrating proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Essential Skills
4 years+ of job-related experience in machine building or as an electrician.
Experience with large assemblies and industrial machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in metric and inch systems.
Basic electrical knowledge and computer skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
