Build the Tools That Shape the Automotive Industry
Join the Hercules Tooling Group, an ArtiFlex Manufacturing family of companies, team where your craftsmanship directly supports the production of high-quality tooling and dies for leading automotive customers. We’re looking for an experienced Diemaker to join us and play a critical role in building new tooling.
This position supports our Hercules Tooling Group located in Warren & Fraser Michigan.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, assemble, and fit Class A transfer dies for new tooling programs.
- Participate in die Tryout to ensure tooling meets dimensional and functional requirements.
- Implement Engineering changes and ensure accurate updates to dies throughout the process.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD data, and job orders to plan builds and modifications.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and refine dies for optimal performance.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Program Management to meet deadlines and quality standards.
What You Bring:
- Tool & Die certification or completed apprenticeship preferred.
- 4–5 years of experience building and troubleshooting metal stamping dies.
- Strong understanding of die construction, fit, finish, and surface quality—especially for Class A panels.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurement.
- Excellent mechanical problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
Shift: Shifts will be assigned based on the seniority list in accordance with the collective bargaining unit agreement. Current opportunities will likely be on Night Shift.
