Job Overview:
We are looking to expand our dispatch team! Our dispatchers serve as the first point of contact for community members seeking transportation services in both Mecosta and Osceola counties. The ideal candidate is someone with knowledge of the Mecosta/Osceola area, a great personality, pays attention to detail, and is a team player. Previous dispatch experience is preferred but not required. Job training will be provided for the hired candidate. This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time employment as our service needs continue to grow. Weekday evening hours and Saturdays are required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Be able to initiate tasks independently
- Ability to learn and grasp new concepts, practices and procedures
- Be able to grasp and operate software used in transit operations
- Consistently schedule requests with minimal mistakes and/or exceptions
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
