About the Role
We are seeking a Teller / Relationship Banker to support members' everyday financial needs while building strong, trusted relationships. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, handling financial transactions, and helping members identify products and services that align with their personal financial goals.
This position serves as a professional ambassador-delivering exceptional service through in-person interactions, phone calls, and digital communication while consistently providing a high-quality member experience.
Schedule & Hours
Monday-Friday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Rotating Saturdays: Every other Saturday, 8:45 AM - 1:15 PM
When working a Saturday, a partial weekday off is provided that same week
Lunch: 30-45 minutes, based on branch needs
What You'll Do
Process a variety of financial transactions, including:
Deposits, withdrawals, transfers, checks, wire transfers, and loan payments
Maintain accurate account records and document member interactions in the core system with close attention to detail
Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships by recommending appropriate products and services
Educate members on the benefits of financial products and refer them to internal specialists when appropriate
Research and resolve member questions or concerns in collaboration with internal departments
Perform operational support duties such as scanning, faxing, and processing daily reports
Comply with all policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC requirements
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Up to 6 months of similar or related experience
Teller experience preferred; retail and cash-handling experience considered
High School Diploma or GED
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Comfort with upselling and educating members on additional products and services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math proficiency and comfort using calculators
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook
High level of trust, credibility, and professionalism
Ability to obtain Notary designation and be bondable
Nice to Have
Experience in credit unions, banking, wealth management, or insurance
Prior experience supporting loan or collections teams
Experience with Symitar or similar core banking systems
College coursework or degree
Retail background with strong transferable skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.
