Job Description
Join our team in a full-time, long-term position dedicated to manufacturing carpeted products for the automotive industry. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and assemblies into presses, conducting inspections, and producing formed and trimmed products. The role requires handling carpet assemblies weighing about 10-15 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds during material handling tasks. Candidates must be willing to work overtime and weekends, with current operations spanning six days a week.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials and assemblies into presses.
Conduct inspections and produce formed/trimmed products.
Handle carpet assemblies weighing 10-15 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds during material handling.
Work overtime and weekends as needed.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in inspection, loading, trimming, unloading, and assembly.
Reliable attendance and stable work history (1-2 years at previous jobs).
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment
You will be working in a high-production shop with 8-10 stamping cells, each equipped with 4 presses. The environment is dynamic, with about 70 production employees per shift across three facilities in town. The company utilizes state-of-the-art technology for carpet manufacturing, including soundproof/weather/waterproof backing for automotive carpets. Dress code involves standard safety attire, and the work is performed standing at a press with a material cart for loading and unloading. Expect a collaborative atmosphere, with line leaders attending weekly leadership academies for career advancement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36400.00 - $37024.00/yr.
