GENERAL PURPOSE: Ensure that all utility work is complete, trash is managed, fountain is washed, and stock at the presses. Ensure that all anilox rolls are cleaned and returned to designated presses and that supplies are stocked at the presses at all times. Wash print stations whenever possible and assist as a press helper when needed. Keep rewinder supplied with all necessary components to perform job and support 5S program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
\u2022 Manages waste and maintains order in work area.
\u2022 Cuts cores for each specific job.
\u2022 Empties trash.
\u2022 Orders supplies and organizes supplies when delivered.
\u2022 Keeps blades changed and core area clean, neat and organized.
\u2022 Assists rewind area when needed on other machinery or packing.
\u2022 Takes skids to shipping daily.
\u2022 Keeps anilox rolls cleaned and returned to the press area.
\u2022 Keeps the press and rewind areas supplied with the necessary supplies in order to minimize down time.
\u2022 Aids in print station clean up.
\u2022 Operates motorized lifts daily.
\u2022 Occasionally watches presses through breaks.
\u2022 Works in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
\u2022 High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
\u2022 Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
\u2022 Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and use of a ruler
\u2022 Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
\u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.
\u2022 Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
\u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
