DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented School to Work - Marketing (Student) to join our team specializing in Marketing and Communications for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI .
The School to Work - Marketing in Sales and Demand Planning position is a highly visible position which will introduce you to the sales organization. Assignments will include internal demand analysis, customer demand reviews, forecast accuracy, as well as product familiarization.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provide assistance with product forecast plans (analysis, documentation)
Forecast updates and entry into JDE system (Oshkosh facility)
Forecast accuracy tracking and file upkeep
Forecast exception review
Creating forecast waterfalls
Support team in development of internal and external customer messages
Data organization, file creation
Creating & distributing daily reports (as needed)

Hybrid work (minimum of 2 days in the office)
Education/Experience:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be a current student in High School OR currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field in a college or university setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables etc.)
SQL - Querying and manipulating structured data (Preferred)
Strong data analysis & interpretation skills
Data quality & validation - Identifying inconsistencies and ensuring accuracy
