Job Title: Field Technician - Driller
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Field Technician - Driller, where you will contribute to essential remediation projects involving earthwork construction services. You will work alongside at least one other person, focusing on sites with oil, gas, or contamination spills. Your role will involve utilizing auger-style drills, with most drilling activities conducted at depths less than 50 feet. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing detailed reports for each site. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment during setup, operation, and teardown processes. Travel to and from the site is managed by the company, with potential overnight stays up to eight nights a month, primarily in the Midwest region.
Responsibilities
Assist in remediation projects involving earthwork construction services.
Utilize auger-style drills for drilling activities, typically less than 50 feet deep.
Write detailed reports for each site visited.
Lift and manage up to 50 pounds of equipment during setup, operation, and teardown.
Travel to various sites, with potential overnight stays up to eight nights a month.
Essential Skills
0-5 years of drilling experience.
Background in construction.
Ability to work with environmental drilling and general labor tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Possession of a CDL is advantageous for direct employment.
Experience with farm or heavy equipment.
OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
