Adecco is seeking Skilled Automotive Mechanics for exciting roles with our client in Allen Park, MI. This is a great chance to gain valuable experience and grow your career in a dynamic environment. Pay is up to $29.90 hourly depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain vehicle functional condition by working from repair orders and conducting inspections
Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components
Read, interpret, and follow service procedures
Train, coach, and mentor team members
Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service details, and repair orders
Keep shop equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 to 8 years of work experience as a mechanic
Certificate in Automotive Technology or related (preferred)
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) (preferred)
State Mechanic Certification(s) (preferred)
Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members
Excellent knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Possesses own tools, including a rolling toolbox
Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
Pay Details: $29.90 per hour
