Under the direct supervision of the administrator and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Ingham Intermediate School District, the Physical Therapist, Early On, will provide supportive services to children age birth to three who have delays and disabilities. The Physical Therapist, Early On will provide child evaluation, direct and indirect therapy services, family-centered services and collaborative consultation with staff, parents, agency personnel and administrators.
- Provides comprehensive physical therapy evaluation of children age birth to three years old referred to Early On Program for suspected developmental delays in: gross motor, sensorimotor, neuromuscular, motor integration and functioning areas.
- Serves as a member of the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team for children age birth to three years old suspected of having a disability.
- Obtains a written prescription from a physician for physical therapy services following the Individualized Family Service Plan/Individualized Education Program (IFSP/IEP).
