Job Title: Laborer (Summer Help – Seasonal)
Location: Tawas
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Benefits: Earned Sick Time Pay
Job Description: Laborer. Flagging for construction jobs, grass trimming and other manual labor, use of hand tools, minor equipment, washing vehicles and assisting in mechanic shop.
Job Requirements: Applicants must be a minimum of 18 year of age. Candidates must be able to perform manual labor and long periods of standing.
Special Requirements:
• All applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Applicants must take and pass drug screening, a physical examination, and undergo a reference check.
Additional Requirements:
• Applicants must also have the ability to deal with the public courteously and effectively and represent the road commission in a positive manner.
• Applicants must be able to work Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., from May 2026 – August 2026.
