Paraprofessional - Special Education
Location: Northville, MI
Schedule: Full-Time Hours
Contract Length: Through the end of the current school year
Pay Rate: $22 per hour
We are currently seeking a qualified and dependable Paraprofessional to support students within a Special Education program in Northville, Michigan. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on students' academic and behavioral success in a school setting.
Position Responsibilities
Support students with special education needs throughout the school day
Assist teachers with classroom activities, instructional support, and behavior management
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students as assigned
Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Qualifications
Previous experience working in special education is required
Ability to effectively support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff
Reliable, patient, and student-focused approach
