Production Supervisor – Injection Molding (3rd Shift)

Location: Fraser, MI

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour + Weekly Attendance Bonus

Shift: 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM
(Must be able to train on 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM for several weeks)

Job Overview

We are currently hiring a hands-on Production Supervisor with experience in plastic injection molding to lead a 3rd shift team in Fraser, MI.

This role is ideal for someone who can lead a team while also working on the floor, including die setting, machine troubleshooting, and supporting production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 15–20 production employees
• Perform and oversee die/mold changes, setups, and startups
• Troubleshoot injection molding machines, processes, and quality issues
• Monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and production efficiency
• Ensure all safety, quality, and production standards are met
• Train and coach employees on proper machine operation and procedures
• Coordinate with maintenance to resolve equipment issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of plastic injection molding experience (REQUIRED)
• Die setting / mold setting experience (REQUIRED)
• Experience with machine troubleshooting and process adjustments
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be willing to work 3rd shift and train on 1st shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with injection molding presses
• Knowledge of cycle times, scrap reduction, and process improvement
• Hi-Lo (Forklift) experience or certification

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
